Café Stops

The Olive Branch, Easingwold
We think this has the best teacakes we have tasted in all the cafes we have visited. Generous size, good thickness and plenty of fruit. Comes with butter and jam and the added benefit of it being served on a chunky piece of wood for the true artisan feel.

Marigolds Café and Boating, Knaresborough
On a lovely Spring or Autumn morning, sitting outside on the terrace seating takes some beating, especially if there are some beginner paddle boarders to provide entertainment. The coffee is good as are the teacakes.

The Ramblers’ Rest, Millington near Pocklington
This is a firm favourite with cyclist from lots of different clubs if our experience of visiting is anything to go by. In the summer at the weekend it can be very busy. It has a good outside seating area, one part of which is covered.
